Patrick Rumley grew up in Northern California and moved to Alaska in 1969. He graduated from East Anchorage High School in 1971, completed his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University (Political Science, 1975), law degree at Syracuse University College of Law (1978), then a master’s degree in economics from Kyoto University (1992). Prior to the financial industry he practiced law working at Sohio Alaska Petroleum, in civil practice at local law firms, as a foreign legal consultant in Japan and in a probate/estate planning practice. Patrick has been securities licensed since December 1999, working first at Smith Barney before establishing an independent practice in May 2009. He has been dedicated to serving a wide range of clients with a focus on planning for life, retirement security and legacy. He has served on several community boards, is a long-time member of Rotary International, and received his honorable discharge from the United States Army Reserve in 1978. He is married to Elize Rumley and has two adult daughters.
